Location - St George’s Church, Kemptown
This beautiful and historic building was originally designed as an integral part of the Kemp Town estate and still holds that role to this day. In addition to the main hall, it also has a community centre at which various groups meet regularly, a cafe ́ and acts as one of Brighton's largest venues for alternative and folk music concerts.
BY CAR
St. George's is on St. George's Road in Brighton; just south of the Royal Sussex County Hospital on Eastern Road. If you are local to the venue, it may be easier to arrange a lift to and from the fair as parking can be tricky.
BY rail
If travelling by rail, Brighton is the nearest station. St George's is a 9 minute cab ride away (there are lots of taxis outside of the station) or a 34 minute walk. Alternatively you can get the 37B City Buzz from outside of the station which takes 15 minutes and drops you just outside of the church. As we know, train strikes are not uncommon at the moment, so please make sure you check before you travel.
PARKING
Most bays surrounding the church have a maximum stay of 2 hours so you will need to look into alternative parking arrangements. We have found the following...
JustPark - The Parking App has pre- bookable parking spaces.
Buzz Bingo is usually the closest option (9 mins walk)
Madeira Drive parking (12 min walk)
